Cherry Orchard Lodge

Cherry Orchard Lodge is a Norwegian wooden lodge in West Quantoxhead, near Williton, set in 8.5 acres of grounds on the edge of the Quantock Hills. It sits in a tucked-away spot in the grounds of the owner's home.

The single-storey lodge has an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with a Smart TV. The kitchen has a two-ring gas hob, an electric oven, a fridge-freezer and a washing machine. The double bedroom has a TV and DVD player and opens to a wet-floor shower room with a WC, which can also be reached from the main room.

Raised decking with outdoor seating looks over the gardens and the Quantock Hills. The gardens are shared, and there is a charcoal barbecue with its own shelter and bench. Across from the lodge, 30 acres of woodland come with permissive rights to roam. The lodge is reached by a level path from the parking area, with a mild slope up to the decking.

Parking is private and off-road for one car, at the back of the lodge. One dog is allowed, with additional charges that may apply. The pub is half a mile away and the shop 2 miles, and St Audries Bay is 1.5 miles away. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00. It suits a couple, with one dog, who want a small single-storey lodge in open grounds.
