The exterior is reached by a step, so the lodge is unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. Private parking takes two cars. The shop is 1 mile away and the nearest pub is 1.2 miles.
Several rules matter. No pets and no smoking are allowed, one-night bookings are not accepted, and the lodge cannot take children over two years old, and younger children need their own travel cot. A second lodge on the site can be booked alongside, for up to six guests in all.
It suits a couple, or a solo traveller, who want somewhere quiet and do not need a kitchen.
