The Hideaway - Somerset

The Hideaway is a one-bedroom cottage in Nunney, near Frome, and sleeps two. Downstairs is a single open-plan room combining lounge, kitchen and dining area, with a wood burner (logs included) and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, and a Bose Bluetooth speaker sits in the lounge.

A bespoke spiral staircase leads up to the king-size bedroom, which has its own Smart TV. The en-suite bathroom is built into the eaves, with a roll-top bath, a separate shower and a WC, and bathrobes are provided. There are sloping ceilings upstairs. A travel cot and highchair are available.

Outside is an enclosed, sun-trapped courtyard with a table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue. There is ample off-road parking in front of the cottage, and an electric vehicle charging point is at the property. The cottage is on the A361, and the shop and pub are 1.5 miles away. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am.

One dog is allowed, with additional charges possible. It suits a couple who want a wood burner and a roll-top bath for evenings in, and who are comfortable with a spiral staircase to bed.
