Sweethay Meadow Lodge

Sweethay Meadow Lodge is a single-storey lodge at Trull, 2.5 miles from Taunton, and many of its rooms have rural views. A coat and boot room by the garden door has a WC, and the shower room has a rainfall shower.

The lounge has a Smart TV and sound bar and opens into a conservatory with a dining table. There are three bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a zip-and-link twin, which can be made into a king-size when asked for at booking. Each has its own Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric double oven with combi microwave, an induction hob, an American-style fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a coffee machine.

The large enclosed garden has a patio with outdoor furniture, a pergola over the hot tub, towels for it provided, and a barbecue area. A children's play area has a climbing frame, slide and swings. Guests can also use a shared 4-acre field, handy for dog walking.

Four cars fit on the private parking at the front, and EV charging is available through the Monta app for a fee. Two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.

It suits a family or friends of up to six, with one or two dogs, who want a hot tub and room for children to play.
