Swan Lodge Castle Farm

Swan Lodge at Castle Farm takes one well-behaved dog, for an additional charge, and the party can be up to 6 people. It stands about a mile from Wedmore and 8 miles from Glastonbury, with views across the Somerset levels towards Glastonbury Tor. Family bookings only are accepted.

The sheltered patio has outdoor furniture and a private hot tub. Indoors, bi-folding doors open the kitchen, dining and sitting area, which has underfloor heating, a Smart TV with Freeview and WiFi. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher.

One king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower is upstairs. Downstairs are the second king-size and a children's bunk room, sharing a ground-floor shower room, so adults sleep in the king-size rooms and the bunks are for children. A travel cot and a highchair are available.

Two cars fit off-road. A new fast-charging electric car port at the property is paid for via an app. Access is through the owner's quiet camp field. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. A shop and a pub are each 1 mile away. In the next field are Jeffrey, Percy and Albert the alpacas and the miniature horses Dottie and Minnie, and the owners keep a Sea Harrier jump jet to sit in. It suits a family of up to six with one dog.
