Sunnyside Lodge

Sunnyside Lodge sits on the edge of Crewkerne in south Somerset, with open countryside around it and the owner's riding school next door. Everything is on the ground floor. Three bedrooms (a double, a twin and a child's room with a pull-out trundle bed) share one shower room with a shower, basin and WC. The booking sleeps six.

The living room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table and sofas in one space, and patio doors lead out to furnished decking. A BBQ hut is provided, with seating and heating, so a barbecue is possible in any weather all year. The garden is enclosed, with a lawn and a Wendy house for younger children. In the kitchen you will find an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher; there is also a TV and WiFi, and a highchair and travel cot are available.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Because the riding school is next door, the dog has to be kept under control whenever it is in the garden. Off-road parking takes three cars, and a shop and pub are 1.2 miles away. Electric central heating is on, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all covered by the rent. Smoking is not allowed.

It suits a family or small group, with or without a dog, who want to keep everything on one level. Changeover day is strictly Monday; if you want to start on another day, call before booking so the owner can be asked.
