Simbura Cottage

Simbura Cottage is a barn conversion in the village of Haselbury Plucknett, near Crewkerne. It sleeps six across three bedrooms upstairs, which makes it a workable base for a family or a group of friends. Shops are 2.5 miles away and a pub is within walking distance.

Downstairs, the front door opens into a hall, with the lounge overlooking the courtyard, a dining room and a kitchen with an electric hob and oven, a microwave and a fridge/freezer. The lounge has a Smart TV and an open fire, and the first basket of logs is included between October and April. A utility room holds the washing machine and a sink, and opens to a small enclosed courtyard. A WC completes the ground floor. There is a small selection of books, games and jigsaws.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a WC, there is a double and a twin, and the family bathroom has an electric shower over a corner bath. A highchair is available on request. Towels are not included.

At the front is an enclosed garden with seating, and the side of the house has a small, enclosed courtyard. The driveway is reached through the gated courtyard and takes two cars. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 3pm and departure before 10am. It suits a family or a group of up to six who bring the dogs.
