Stow Cottage

Stow Cottage is in the Somerset village of Henstridge, near Wincanton, with a pub and a shop within 600 metres. It sleeps five over three bedrooms. Guests come in through a side gate, and the cottage stands next to the road. Ceilings are low throughout.

The lounge has a Smart TV, plenty of seating and a wood burner. An opening in the wall leads to the dining room and on to the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a microwave/air fryer, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The lounge also has a sofa bed, available on request. The ground-floor bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Upstairs are a snug double with a TV, a single, and a king-size room with a TV and an en-suite WC. A separate WC is on the landing. A travel cot and a highchair are available.

Doors from the kitchen lead into the enclosed wraparound garden, which has a lawn, a patio with covered seating and a summer house. Parking is roadside, immediately opposite the cottage and subject to availability. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 16:00. It suits a family or a small group who want a village base.
