Basswood Barn

Basswood Barn is a contemporary two-bedroom holiday home, one of three barn homes at Lime Tree Barn that can be booked together for up to 12 guests. It is near Wincanton, and The Newt and Stourhead are close by.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, as long as they stay downstairs. Outside, the private rear garden has a lawn, a patio, furniture and a Weber BBQ, with optional communal space as well.

Four people sleep here. The master bedroom is mezzanine-style, with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and it is air conditioned. The ground-floor twin has beds that zip and link, and it can be made up as a super-king-size on request. The ground-floor bathroom adds a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail and a WC.

The kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan space. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, and a Smart TV and fibre optic WiFi are provided. Air source heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are in the rent, and a cot and highchair are available.

Parking comes with an electric charger point. The shop is 0.1 miles away and the pub 0.9 miles. Smoking and vaping are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a family of four with a dog, or two couples travelling together.
