Stoneage Cottage
Two-bedroom Quantock foothills cottage behind electric gates
Stoneage Cottage is at Cothelstone, near Taunton, in the foothills of the Quantock Hills, with Crowcombe nearby. It stands to one side of the owners' own home at the end of a sweeping driveway, and is reached through electric gates. The cottage is fully self-contained. The village of Bishops Lydeard is a 30-minute walk and the beach is 10 miles away; a pub and shop are both close.
The lounge has comfortable seating, a TV with a DVD player and a large dining table. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer, and an outdoor clothes line is provided. Fibre internet is available. A cot and highchair can be provided.
There are two bedrooms, a king-size and a single, both looking out over the countryside. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.
Outside, a small patio at the rear has seating, and a large lawn runs along the side and front of the cottage. Secure parking is available for more than one car. Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 3pm and departure before 10am. It suits a couple, or a couple with one child, who want a private cottage next to the owners' home rather than a shared site.
