Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is an annexe attached to the owner's home in Triscombe, a small hamlet on the Quantock Hills about two miles from Crowcombe. Everything is on one floor, and the views from the property run across the Quantocks and the Vale of West Somerset.

The kitchen and living room share a single space, with two sofas, a TV and a folding table that seats four. The kitchen has an electric cooker, a fridge and a dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, a double with a dressing table and a single, and both use the one bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and two heated towel rails.

Outside is an enclosed, lawned rear garden with furniture. Parking is at the front for one car, with additional car park parking available nearby. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and a pet supplement is charged. Smoking is not allowed.

Heating is electric, with WiFi and a selection of guide books provided. Heating and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The village shop and two pubs are 2.3 miles away. The Quantock Greenway footpath is visible from the cottage.

It suits a couple or a small family with a dog who want a ground-floor layout and a base for walking the Quantocks.
