Somerset House

On the outskirts of Othery, Thornhills Farm has a farmhouse that sleeps ten: Somerset House, a five-bedroom detached home with a sweeping drive, off-road parking and a hot tub in the rear garden.

Downstairs there is a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a formal dining room and a conservatory, as well as a kitchen and a utility room. The kitchen has an electric double oven range cooker, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and there are a utility room, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is a Smart TV and WiFi, and a starter pack for the stove is included with fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

The bedrooms are a ground-floor double, plus a super-king-size, a king-size, a double and a twin upstairs. The ground-floor bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower, and a separate shower room has a walk-in shower, with a cloakroom WC as well. Gas central heating runs alongside the stove.

The rear garden has furniture and the hot tub. Dogs are not allowed, smoking is not allowed, and the owners do not accept worker bookings. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. For a shop, it is 0.5 miles and a ten-minute walk, and the pub is 1.4 miles away.

Somerset House is best for two families or a group of friends who want a hot tub, one bedroom with no stairs to climb, and separate sitting and dining spaces.
