Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is in the Somerset town of Wellington, and its main draw is the garden: fully enclosed, with a patio and a hot tub. The shop is 4.1 miles away and the pub 2.8 miles, so plan on driving for most things.

Downstairs is one open-plan room with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an icebox, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster. Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double, and a twin whose beds zip and link into a super-king-size on request, with a TV in it. They share a shower room. Heating is gas central heating.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and the enclosed garden gives it, and any children, a secure space. Off-road parking takes two cars. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, WiFi is provided, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Smoking is not allowed.

The cottage can also be booked together with a second property, Garden View, for a combined party of up to 8 guests. Exmoor National Park and the village of Dunster are among the days out in reach.

It suits a couple or a family of four with one dog who want a hot tub at the end of the day.
