Bumblebee Cottage

Bumblebee Cottage is a barn conversion in East Nynehead, about 2.5 miles from Wellington and 2 miles from Bradford-on-Tone, next door to the owners. It is built on reverse levels: the two bedrooms are on the ground floor, a king-size and a twin, each with its own en-suite walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. The first floor holds the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, lit by skylights, and a boot room for walking gear.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher; there are three Smart TVs and WiFi, with electric underfloor heating and bed linen and towels included. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Guests can ask the owners for access to a shared washing machine and tumble dryer.

The enclosed front garden has a gravelled area, patio and furniture, with steps in the garden, and a covered table tennis set. The owners have a right of access through the courtyard. Parking on the driveway takes up to three cars, and an EV charging point is available, with the usage charge arranged directly with the owner. A good housekeeping bond is payable. July and August bookings have a three-night minimum. No pets and no smoking.

It suits a couple, or two couples, who want separate en-suite rooms and have no dog to bring.
