Quoits Retreat

Quoits Retreat is a holiday home in the small village of Duddlestone, 3.5 miles from Taunton, with the edge of the Blackdown Hills less than a mile away and Taunton Racecourse under a mile from the door.

From the entrance hall a flight of stairs leads to a landing, and all the accommodation is on that one floor. Two utility cupboards there hold a fridge/freezer, and a washing machine with a tumble dryer. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a vaulted ceiling, a Smart TV and French doors to a Juliet balcony. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob and microwave.

Both bedrooms are king-size and share a contemporary shower room with a WC and bidet. A travel cot and highchair are supplied.

The private enclosed garden has outdoor seating and a gas barbecue, and there is a hot tub, with robes provided. A second, shared garden is reached through security gates along a private drive. Parking is private and off-road. CCTV covers the gate entrance and the area near the garage. One dog is welcome, and additional charges may apply. The shop is three miles away and the pub two and a half. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00.

It suits a couple, or two friends, who want a hot tub and a private garden, with a dog if need be.
