Pete's Place

Pete's Place is a sandstone cottage in the village of Bishops Lydeard, near Taunton. It spreads over two floors and keeps its exposed beams and feature fireplaces. The sitting room has a wood-burning stove, and the dining room next to the kitchen has an inglenook fireplace.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, a king-size and a double, with a shower room that has a walk-in shower. The kitchen is stocked with an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge with ice box, a dishwasher, a washing machine and an air fryer. There are two Smart TVs and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent.

The rear gardens are enclosed and hold a patio, lawn, patio furniture, a storage shed, a barbecue and a hot tub. That makes the garden the main draw for anyone bringing a dog, as two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs on the government banned list are not allowed. The shop is 0.1 miles away and the pub 0.3 miles.

Three steps lead up to the property. Parking is available outside for unloading only, with on-street parking opposite. It is no smoking, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a couple or a small family with dogs who want a garden with a hot tub and a village within walking distance.
