Proffitts Cottage

Proffitts Cottage is in Dulverton, inside Exmoor National Park, with a shop, a pub and the river all 0.1 miles away. Walking, mountain biking and birdwatching are close by. The cottage has no garden of its own.

Inside, the kitchen, dining table and sitting area share one open-plan room, where an electric fire sits in the sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a kettle and a toaster, and there are a TV and WiFi. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin, share a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The cottage sleeps four.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Parking is off the road, in a garage that takes one small car, so anyone bringing a larger vehicle should think about that before booking. Electric central heating runs through the cottage, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The cottage is non-smoking, and the shop, pub and river are 0.1 miles or so from the door.

It suits two couples or a pair of friends, or a couple with a pet or two, who plan to be out on the moor and want a short walk to the pub and shop.
