Priory Barn Apartment is in Walton, near Street, and Compton Dundon is another village in the area. The layout is split between floors: the kitchen is on the ground floor, while the double bedroom, the shower room and the living and dining room are up the stairs. The living room has a Smart TV and a table set for two.

The kitchen has a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a kettle, a toaster, an air fryer, a toastie grill and a hot plate stove. There is WiFi and gas central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are in the rent. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, a courtyard with a gravel area and furniture serves as the garden. The shop is 1.2 miles away, the pub 0.5 miles and the river 0.5 miles.

Private driveway parking is for one guest car, and a second can be arranged on request, so say in advance if you plan to bring two. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and guests may ask about bringing another.

There are some strict rules. The apartment is unsuitable for children, though babes in arms are welcome if you bring your own travel cot, and guests must be 21 or over. The minimum stay is 2 nights, smoking is not allowed, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. An extra mattress can be left in the living room with advance notice. It suits a couple, perhaps with a dog, who are happy to use stairs between kitchen and bedroom.
