Pippin Cottage

Pippin Cottage is a one-bedroom, single-storey cottage in Badgworth, a Mendip village near Mark. It is one of four adjoining properties on a small complex, and it has its own private entrance door. The complex also has a micro-brewery and taproom, open on selected evenings.

Inside, a single open-plan room holds the kitchen area, a lounge with a wood burner and a Smart TV, and a dining table opposite, all with exposed stone walls. The first basket of logs is included. Cooking is on an electric oven and hob, with a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine alongside. The king-size bedroom and the shower room with WC are on the same level. A travel cot and a highchair are available on request.

The garden is a lawned area with furniture, across the driveway from the cottage, so it is an open garden rather than an enclosed one. One off-road parking space comes with the cottage. The beach is 7 miles away, the nearest shop 5 miles and the pub 1.5 miles. Stabling can be arranged with the owner.

Up to two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Pippin Cottage sleeps two and suits a couple who want a wood burner, a dishwasher and a dog-friendly base on one level. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00.
