Owls Retreat

Owls Retreat is a single-storey cottage on Hope Farm in Lympsham, 3.3 miles from Brean. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and each bedroom has its own en-suite with a bath and a shower over it, so nobody waits for the bathroom.

The open-plan living space combines the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire. Cooking is electric, with an oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge with an ice box. Electric central heating and an air conditioning unit keep the temperature steady, and there is a TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a cot and highchair can be requested.

Outside, guests share a lawned communal garden with furniture and a communal play area. A standalone games room in the barn is also communal, used by guests of the other cottages on the farm. Owls Retreat can be booked together with three of those cottages, and the group then sleeps up to 20.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, parking is off-road, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The nearest shop is 0.8 miles away and the nearest pub 2.2 miles. It suits a family of four, or two couples travelling with a dog, since each bedroom has its own bathroom.
