Carthouse

Two bedrooms, both with en-suites, all on one level: that is the layout at Carthouse, a cottage on Hope Farm in Lympsham. Brean is 3.3 miles away. The double has an en-suite, and the twin has an en-suite bath with a shower over it. It sleeps four.

You arrive to off-road parking and a lawned communal garden. A picnic bench gives a place to eat outside, and a communal play area is open to guests. In the barn there is a standalone games room, shared with the other properties on the farm. The farm's cottages can be booked together, and across all four they sleep up to 20.

Indoors, the kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan space, with an electric fire in the sitting corner. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge with an ice box. Heating is electric, with an air conditioning unit, and the TV and WiFi are included. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels come with the rent, and a cot and highchair can be requested.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is no smoking, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 0.8 miles away and the pub 2.2 miles. Carthouse works for a family with a dog or two couples who each want their own bathroom.
