Orchard Farm Wedmore - Pippin

Pippin comes with a private hot tub in an enclosed cottage-style garden, and the apartment itself is on the ground floor of a converted stone building at Orchard Farm in Middle Stoughton, near Wedmore. It sleeps two.

You enter through a boot and utility room with a washing machine, which leads to the shower room with WC. Stepping down takes you into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner, which overlooks the courtyard and has exposed beams and slate flooring. A woodburner (the first basket of logs is included, further logs can be bought from the owner) and a TV with a firestick sit in the lounge. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.

The double bedroom has a door onto a private terrace, with the shared garden beyond. Bed linen, towels, hot tub towels and dressing gowns are provided. Guests may also use the mature orchard, which runs down to a stream. A barbecue is available, and the farm has a pop-up shop selling homemade cider, eggs and ales.

One dog is welcome, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out before 10:00. The single parking space is 50 yards away along a level path, electric vehicle charging is available on site and the nearest shops and pubs are two miles off.

It suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want a hot tub of their own.
