Little Leaf Hideaway

Little Leaf Hideaway is a hand-built shepherd's hut on a former farm, 4.5 miles from Wells. It is insulated, double glazed and centrally heated, and four steps lead up to the front door. The one open-plan room has a double bed that runs wall to wall at one end, a fitted kitchen area with a ceramic hob, a small fridge and a compact microwave, a table, and a wood burner. At the other end is an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC.

Entertainment is a TV with DVD player, a record player and a Bluetooth DAB radio, and a welcome pack is provided. Logs for the wood burner are supplied, in unlimited amounts if used responsibly. The water supply is private.

Outside is a private garden with a lawn, a small gas barbecue and a Dutch oven, a fire pit, dining furniture, deck chairs and a day bed. A private wood-fired hot tub looks towards Glastonbury Tor. Parking is private, for one car. One other glamping hut stands on the site, 150 metres away. The shop is 3 miles away, the pub 1.4 miles and the beach 22 miles.

One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is before 10:00. It suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want to spend their evenings in a hot tub and by a fire pit.
