Hart Cottage

Hart Cottage is a Grade II listed house in Wells, set up for two. The ground floor is one open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area with a Smart TV and a woodburner set in an inglenook fireplace. The first basket of logs is included. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge with ice compartment, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher.

Upstairs is a king-size bedroom reached from a spacious landing, and a shower room with a large rainfall shower and WC. The stairs to the first floor are cottage-style, which is worth knowing before you book. At the back is a small private outdoor space adjoining neighbouring gardens.

There is no private parking. Parking is unallocated and on-street, or in nearby public car parks where local charges apply. Pubs and shops are within 0.2 miles, so the car can stay where it is. The beach is 17 miles away. The Mendip Hills run along the north side of the city, with the West Mendip Way and the Monarch's Way crossing them.

Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00. It suits a couple spending a few days in the city who are happy to walk everywhere and do not need to park at the door.
