Leigh Holt

Leigh Holt is a stone-built cottage on a working farm at Waterlip, 4.5 miles from Shepton Mallet. Everything is on the ground floor. There is walking on the East Mendip Way, and the Bath and West Showground is 10 minutes from the cottage.

A corridor leads to the open-plan sitting and dining room, which has a fireplace and leather seating, and then to a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The four-poster bedroom has an en-suite shower, basin and a separate WC. The second bedroom is a family room with a double and a single bed, and the main bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Together the beds sleep five. A cot and a highchair are available on request.

The games room has a pool table and a table tennis table. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher. There are 3 TVs with Freeview, a DVD player and WiFi. Oil central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Out the back is a garden with a patio and furniture, looking over the fields. Parking is off-road with plenty of room. Electric car charging is not allowed. Pets and smoking are not allowed either. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am. Bookings start on a Friday for a minimum of 7 nights, with short breaks in July running Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. The shop and pub are about 2 miles away.

It suits a family or two couples who want the whole cottage on one level and a games room.
