Holly Cottage - Somerset

Holly Cottage is a renovated 19th-century end-of-terrace house in the village of Cranmore, 3.5 miles from Shepton Mallet, and it sleeps 6. The lounge has a Smart TV and rural views, while the dining room has an exposed-stone wall, a flame-effect electric fire and its own TV. A cloakroom with a basin and WC sits on the ground floor.

Four bedrooms are on the first floor, reached by wooden cottage-style stairs that are rather steep. Two are doubles, one with a TV, and two are singles. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. The kitchen has an electric range oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and an air fryer, and there is a breakfast table as well as the dining room.

The rear garden is a large lawn with outdoor furniture and a view across open country, and the front has a lawn too. A metal table is provided for guests who bring their own disposable barbecue. Parking is off-road for 4 cars. Up to 3 dogs are allowed, with additional charges possible. The pub and restaurant are 0.5 miles away and the shop is 2 miles. Holly Cottage suits a family or friends with a dog, as long as the steep stairs suit everyone in the party.
