Highgrove - Watchet

Highgrove is a detached house in Watchet, within walking distance of the marina, harbour, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. The beach is also within walking distance. It sleeps six, and it is for family holidays only: it cannot be used as a party house, including stag and hen groups.

The kitchen/diner has bifold doors onto the patio, with far-reaching views over Watchet to the sea. It has two electric ovens, an induction hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a wine cooler and a coffee maker. The dining area seats six. A dual-aspect lounge has a Smart TV, a PlayStation 4 and a football table, and there is a cloakroom WC.

Upstairs are three bedrooms. The master has a king-size bed, a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room, and its bifold doors open onto a balcony with seating and a swinging chair. The second is another king-size, and the third is a twin zip-and-link that can be made into a super-king-size on request. The bathroom has a freestanding bath and a separate shower.

The private enclosed patio has seating and the hot tub, which guests may use at no extra charge. There is a stand for disposable barbecues. An external staircase at the side of the house leads to a raised grassed area with seating. A driveway holds two cars, and an EV charging point is available at an extra cost, so contact the owner before arrival. Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges possible. A travel cot and a highchair are available, and Wi-Fi is included.

It suits a family of up to six, with a dog or two, that wants a hot tub and a walk into town.
