Bayview 23

Bayview 23 is a single-storey lodge on St Audries Bay Holiday Park in West Quantoxhead, about 4.5 miles from Watchet. The sitting room has a corner sofa, a smart TV and a gas fire, and the kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden runs alongside a wrap-around deck with sea views.

There are two bedrooms at one end of the lodge: a king-size with fitted wardrobes and an en-suite basin and WC, and a twin. The shower room has a walk-in shower. The lodge sleeps six. Steps lead up to the property and the deck, so take care on arrival.

Parking is private and directly outside. Guests can use the park's indoor heated pool, sauna, tennis court, games room and children's play area. In winter, from November to February, the on-site restaurant and shop are closed and the pub opens on Friday and Saturday evenings for a few hours. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and there is a dog shower in the communal toilet block. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a couple or small family with a dog who want a quiet park with a garden and a sea view.
