Hambush Cottage - Hambush Farm

Hambush Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion in the owners' grounds at Hambush Farm, Baltonsborough, a village near Sticklinch. The owners make their own cider and keep a vineyard. The village pub is within walking distance, as is a shop with its own bakery and café that sells local produce, and information on the village circular walk is kept at the property.

The living area is open plan, with original beams, high ceilings, comfortable seating and a wood burner; the first basket of logs is included. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a combi microwave oven and grill, a fridge/freezer, a coffee machine, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer, plus a dining area. Both bedrooms are at ground level. One has a super-king-size bed that zips and links, and can be made into a twin on request, with an en-suite shower room. The other is a twin. A bathroom has a shower over the bath, and a galleried second lounge with a TV/DVD and a selection of DVDs is up the stairs from the main lounge.

Outside there is a sunny patio with seating, an enclosed garden space for guests and a private hot tub. Private parking takes three cars, and use of an EV charger can be requested in advance. Wi-Fi is included, along with electricity and electric heaters, and a welcome pack waits on arrival. A travel cot is available if you ask before you travel.

One dog is allowed, and extra charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. It suits two couples, or a small family with one dog, who want a hot tub and both bedrooms at ground level.
