Foxglove

Foxglove has a carp fishing lake on site, and guests book their slot on arrival. The chalet is in the hamlet of Sticklinch, on the outskirts of West Pennard, and is one of three in the owner's grounds. Booked together, the three sleep up to twelve.

The chalet is on one floor. A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC leads off an open-plan living room that holds the kitchen area, the dining area and a sitting area. The sitting area has a sofa bed and an electric fire made to look like a woodburner, and the floor is heated by LPG underfloor heating. The one bedroom has a double bed. It sleeps four, with the sofa bed there for additional guests.

The kitchen has an electric oven and a gas hob. There is a TV with a DVD player, WiFi, and a selection of games and books, and a highchair is available. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The 4G signal is strong.

At the front is a private patio with seating, and parking is off the road. One well-behaved pet is welcome and smoking is not allowed. A pub is within 2 miles. Stables and a livery yard can be arranged directly with the owner for guests bringing horses.

It suits a couple who fish, or a couple with a dog and room on the sofa bed for a friend or child.
