Fenny Castle Cottage

Fenny Castle Cottage in Wookey is two cottages let together, and it sleeps eight. They are not interlinked, so guests step outside to reach the second one. Each has its own open-plan kitchen, living and dining room with a wood burner and a Smart TV.

The main cottage has three bedrooms: a super-king-size zip-and-link bed, a king-size bed and a twin. The second cottage has one bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed. Across the two there are four bathrooms: an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC, an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, a bathroom with bath and WC, and a shower room with a double shower and WC. The super-king beds can be made up as twins on request. A double sofa bed in the smaller cottage comes with bedding, but the booking capacity stays at eight.

The main kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave, and a utility room with a washing machine. The second kitchen has its own dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine.

The courtyard is reached by crossing the River Sheepy. Outside is an enclosed terrace and garden with furniture and a charcoal barbecue, plus an enclosed tennis court. The court is shared with the owners, so times vary. Parking is private and off-road. The pub is 1.5 miles away and the shop 2 miles. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure before 10:00. Dogs are not allowed.

It suits two couples or a family group of eight who want separate front doors and their own kitchens.
