Enfield

Enfield is a Victorian terraced cottage on a quiet lane in Porlock, once home to local shipbuilding craftsmen. Shops and pubs are five minutes' walk away and the coast is ten.

The cottage rises over three floors and sleeps 6 in three double bedrooms. A king-size double on the first floor has an en-suite shower, basin and WC, a second double has no en-suite, and a double on the second floor has its own en-suite shower. Anyone who prefers a bath uses the separate bathroom, which has a bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC.

The sitting room has a woodburner and a dining area, and the separate kitchen has seating of its own, along with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Oil central heating is used, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The garden is enclosed, with a lawn, decking and furniture, and the village recreation ground with tennis courts and a children's playground is moments away.

Parking is on the road outside, unrestricted and first come, first served. Bookings can only start on a Friday. Pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits a group of friends or a family of up to six.
