Drapers Cottage

Drapers Cottage is a two-bedroom conversion in Isle Brewers, a village on the edge of the Somerset Levels, near Ilminster. It sleeps four. The king-size bedroom is on the ground floor with its own en-suite shower room, and the ground floor also has a separate WC. Upstairs, the twin bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The lounge and diner share one room, with a Smart TV, and it opens into the kitchen. Cooking is covered by an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer, plus a slimline dishwasher and a Dolce Gusto Genio coffee machine. Wi-Fi is available, and a travel cot and highchair can be supplied. Because the roof is thatched, barbecues are not allowed.

The courtyard garden is fully enclosed and comes with seating. Private parking takes two cars, with more space on the street. Walkers can follow a mill stream and the River Isle on foot from the village, and National Cycle Network route 33 runs through it. The shop is 4 miles away and the pub 3 miles.

One dog is welcome, with additional charges, and the owners may consider a second small dog if you call to ask. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am. It suits two couples or a small family who want a bedroom on the ground floor.
