Birch View

Birch View is a five-bedroom house in the village of Meare. The pub is 0.3 miles away and Glastonbury is three miles off. It sleeps ten, in four double bedrooms and a twin.

The ground floor has a kitchen/diner with a table for ten, a range cooker and a wood burner, and a lounge with a Smart TV. Two of the double bedrooms and a shower room are also down here. Upstairs are two more doubles and the twin. The master suite has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, a separate shower and a WC, a TV/DVD, and French windows to a private balcony. The family bathroom has a roll-top bath. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and a washing machine and tumble dryer are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available.

The enclosed garden is mostly lawn, with a patio, dining furniture, a BBQ and a 6-person hot tub. Parking is off-road, for three cars. The shop is four miles away and the beach 13 miles.

Dogs are welcome, up to two, but only in the downstairs area and not on beds or furniture, and the owners ask for blankets on the carpets. Additional charges may apply. A refundable security deposit is payable to the owner closer to the start of the holiday. Check-in is from 4pm and departure is before 10am. It suits a large family or two families sharing, especially anyone who wants bedrooms on the ground floor.
