The Stables

The Stables is a barn conversion on a working farm in Watchfield, with Highbridge 2.3 miles away. It sleeps five across three bedrooms, and the farm setting is worth knowing about if you are bringing small children.

Downstairs are a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove, plus a WC with a basin. The ground floor has underfloor heating run from an air-source heat pump. The kitchen has a double oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and there is a TV and WiFi. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Upstairs, one king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The second bedroom is also a king-size and the third has a single bed. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be supplied for younger guests.

At the back is an enclosed garden with a patio, and there is off-road parking for several cars. Pets and smoking are not allowed. A Good Housekeeping bond is payable, and the changeover day is flexible. The nearest shop is 1.5 miles away and the pub is 0.6 miles.

It suits a family with young children, or two couples and a child, who want an enclosed garden and off-road parking.
