Swallows Watch Barn

Swallows Watch Barn is a two-bedroom barn at East Huntspill, in the middle of the Somerset Levels, and Watchfield is close by. It sleeps four. The beach is 4 miles away, the shops are 2.5 miles off and the pub is 1.5 miles. Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are a short drive.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has large windows onto the garden, a wood burner with the first basket of logs included and a Smart TV. Further baskets cost extra. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a fridge, a microwave and a dishwasher. Both bedrooms lead off the hall: the king-size has an en-suite shower and WC, and the second is a twin. A separate bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

At the back is an enclosed courtyard garden with a patio and seating, including stargazing seats, and a charcoal barbecue is available. A secure shed there houses the washing machine and is also used for bicycles and muddy boots. Parking is off-road at the front and ample. Bed linen and towels are included, as are electric and central heating.

The barn is not available for contractors or work stays, and it is not a party house for hen or stag groups. Dogs are not allowed. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.

It suits two couples, or a family of four, who want a base for cycling and walking on the Levels.
