The Retreat

The Retreat is an annexe in the village of Washford, and Williton is 1.9 miles away. A courtyard with a hot tub and an outdoor seating area is enclosed, though it is set back from the road and you will hear road noise there in the daytime.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine, plus a dining area and a seating area with an electric fire and a TV. The bedroom is on the first floor, with a super-king-size bed and a dressing room, and an en-suite bath with a shower over, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. Headroom in the bedroom is limited because of the pitched roof. Electric central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

There is one allocated parking space, for a single car. The shop is 1.7 miles away, and the pub is 0.4 miles along a main road, so the walk is a short one beside traffic. A refundable good housekeeping bond is payable.

Children, pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits a couple who want a hot tub and a quiet evening.
