Stable Cottage - Glasses Farm

Walks into Exmoor National Park start straight from Stable Cottage, a barn conversion on the edge of Roadwater. A post office/shop and a pub are within walking distance. The cottage sleeps two, and no children or babies are accepted. The West Somerset Railway runs from Washford, two miles away.

Come in by the front door and you reach the kitchen/diner, which has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a counter freezer, a pod coffee machine and a washer/dryer. The king-size bedroom is on the same floor, with an en-suite shower room holding a shower and a WC. Bathrobes and slippers are included.

Stairs from the kitchen/diner climb to the lounge, tucked into the eaves, with exposed beams, a Smart TV and an Alexa. Along the coast are Watchet, with its harbour, and Minehead, with its sandy beach.

A small private seating area sits next to the cottage. The shared garden is a sloping lawn reached by steep external steps, and a pergola with seating stands at the top. One car can park off-road. Dogs are not allowed. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure is before 10:00.

It suits a couple who want a downstairs bedroom and are fine with steep steps to the garden.
