The Parlour
Studio-style cottage for 2 with four-poster and hot tub
The Parlour sits at the end of a private lane on the edge of Langford, a village near Shipham. It is a one-bedroom studio-style conversion, with a vaulted ceiling, wooden flooring and exposed beams.
The lounge, kitchen, dining table and bed share one open-plan room, and a curtain separates the sleeping area, so it can be drawn back to watch the 75 inch Smart TV from bed. The bed is a king-size four-poster. The shower room is en suite and has a rainfall shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Skylight windows and a glass gable end bring in daylight. There is WiFi.
You enter through an enclosed courtyard garden, which has outdoor seating, a charcoal barbecue and a hot tub. Parking is private and off the road, with room for 3 cars. The hall has access to a WC.
The shop is half a mile away, the pub a mile, and the beach 10 miles. Dogs are not allowed. With sleeping space for two, it suits a couple looking for a quiet base with a hot tub. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
