Beulah, Southcroft Farm

Beulah is a timber glamping pod at Southcroft Farm, a working farm in Cross, near Axbridge and not far from Shipham. A long private lane leads to it, and it is one of two pods on the site.

Everything is in one open-plan room: a sofa, a compact kitchen with an induction two-ring hob, a combi-oven/microwave and a fridge, a breakfast table, and the double bed. The shower room with a WC is en suite. There is WiFi and a Smart TV, and the windows look over the paddock.

The seating area at the front is private, with garden furniture and a fire pit, and the first supply of logs is included. The hot tub is private to the pod. A shared grassed area holds a stone-built charcoal barbecue. Parking is private, for one car.

One dog is welcome, and extra charges may apply. Guests who ride can bring a horse: shelter and grazing are provided, at an additional cost paid direct to the owner. The pub is 350 metres away, the nearest shop is a mile off and the beach is 13 miles. Best for a couple who want a farm setting with a hot tub. Arrival is from 3pm and departure before 10am.
