Single-storey dairy-farm lodge for 6, one pet, enclosed paddock

The Lodge at Crossroads Farm is a detached, single-storey lodge on a working dairy farm in Middlezoy, Somerset, near Othery. Open countryside surrounds it, with donkeys in the fields nearby, and the pub is 0.3 miles away and the shop 0.4 miles.

The three bedrooms sit on the one level: a king-size with an en-suite bath and a shower over it, a double, and a room with bunk beds, giving a total of six places. There is also a bathroom with a bath. The open-plan living space has a kitchen, a dining table for six and a sitting area with an electric fire and a large TV.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Heating is electric, there is WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Wrap-around decking with furniture runs round the lodge, and an enclosed paddock is part of the outdoor space. Parking is ample and off the road. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable.

It suits a family of six, or friends with one pet, who want everything on one level.
