The Cowshed

The Cowshed is a one-bedroom holiday home in the village of Regil, a small hamlet in the parish of Winford in North Somerset, in the countryside not far from Bishop Sutton. It is arranged for two people: a double bedroom, a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, and one open-plan room that combines the kitchen, dining table and sitting area.

The living space is a single open-plan room, so cooking, eating and sitting all happen together. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and a washing machine is provided as well. WiFi and a TV are provided, heating is by oil central heating, and fuel and power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn, a patio and a picnic bench, so it is a private place to eat or sit out. Private parking is available. The nearest pub is 0.8 miles away and the shop 2.2 miles.

Pets are not accepted, and smoking is not allowed. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Bath are all within reach for days out. It suits a couple who want a self-contained base with their own garden and a washing machine on hand.
