Ninky Nonk

Ninky Nonk is a purpose-built holiday home in Bishop Sutton, near Blagdon, on the edge of Chew Valley Lake, with the lake footpath 300 metres away. The bedroom is on the ground floor: a super-king bed that can be unzipped into twin beds on request, next to an en-suite with a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail and a WC.

The kitchen/diner has an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, filtered drinking water and an L'OR coffee machine. There is a 42-inch Smart TV and WiFi, heating comes from air source heat pumps with underfloor heating throughout, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Outside, the enclosed private patio has furniture and a barbecue, with a fire pit and a hot tub alongside. A secure bike store and a safe in the property are provided. The private driveway has room for parking and there is an electric car charger. The village shop and pub are 0.4 miles away.

Two well-behaved adult dogs are welcome. Other pets, apart from cats, which are not accepted, should be requested in advance. Smoking is not allowed indoors and a good housekeeping bond is payable. Changeovers are on Monday or Friday only, and stays are 3, 4 or 7 nights. It suits a couple, with dogs if they like, who want a ground-floor bedroom and a hot tub.
