The Cottage Loaf
Grade 2 listed village cottage with courtyard
The Cottage Loaf is a Grade 2 listed cottage in the village of Wedmore, with shops 30 yards from the property and a pub 0.1 miles away. The river is 0.6 miles off.
Two bedrooms upstairs, a king-size and a twin, sleep four. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over and a double basin, and a cloakroom with basin and WC is on the other floor. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and the king-size room and twin are the only two sleeping spaces, so the cottage is best kept to four guests.
The dining room has a woodburning stove, with fuel and power included, and there is a separate sitting room with a TV. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, and gas central heating warms the house. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.
Outside is an enclosed courtyard with furniture. There is no private driveway: parking is roadside, on a first-come, first-served basis.
No pets or smoking are allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage takes holiday guests only and does not accept worker bookings. It suits a couple or a small family who would rather walk to the shops than drive.
