Old Farm Stables

Old Farm Stables is a single-storey barn conversion in the grounds of the owner's home, 1.5 miles from Sparkford and near Wincanton. Inside, a high vaulted ceiling and exposed stonework frame the open-plan room, which combines the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Bi-fold doors open to the garden.

The one bedroom is a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. The booking takes two adults and a babe-in-arms only, and a travel cot and highchair are provided. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a kettle, a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a dishwasher, and there is a TV and WiFi. Oil central heating backs up the stove, and fuel, power, a starter pack for the stove, bed linen and towels are included.

The garden at the front is enclosed and has a lawn, and there is plenty of off-road parking on the driveway. The shop is 1.9 miles away and the pub 1.4 miles.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and a good housekeeping bond is payable.

It suits a couple, perhaps with a baby or a dog, who want a one-bedroom base on a single level.
