One-bedroom dairy conversion for two, sheep in the paddocks

Sheep graze the paddocks around Little Barn, a one-bedroom dairy conversion at Cucklington, close to the market town of Wincanton. The owners' home is close by and Willow Barn is its neighbour. It sleeps two.

Check the rules before booking. Children under 5 are not accepted, business bookings are not accepted, pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted. Parking is off-road, the shop is 3 miles away and the pub 2 miles, and the A303 is within 4 miles, so a car is needed.

Everything is on a single level, and guests come in from a patio with garden furniture. The bedroom is a spacious double with an en-suite shower room, basin and WC. The open-plan space combines a small kitchen with a sitting and dining area, and the kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a fridge freezer and a microwave.

A CD radio stereo, a TV with a DVD player, WiFi and a selection of books are included, and so are oil central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels. The laundry room, with a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and an ironing board, is shared rather than the cottage's own. Little Barn suits a couple who want a quiet break.
