Long Batch Cottage

Long Batch Cottage is in the village of Ditcheat and is joined to the owner's house. It is a single-storey home built for two adults, as no children and no pets are accepted, and smoking is not allowed either. The Mendip Hills are within easy touring distance, and Sticklinch lies nearby.

The layout is simple. You walk into an open-plan room with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, then on to the bathroom and the king-size bedroom. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher, and a TV, WiFi and some books are provided. Oil central heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent.

The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, a basin and a WC. At the front is a secluded garden with a bistro table and chairs, and the cottage has off-road parking for one car. The pub is 0.3 miles away and the nearest shop 3.7 miles. Shepton Mallet is 5.8 miles from the village and Glastonbury 11 miles. A Good Housekeeping bond is payable.

It suits a couple who want a quiet break with a pub in walking distance and no children around.
