Little Dragons

Little Dragons is a mid-terraced cottage in Dunster, backing onto St George's Church and believed to date from the mid 1800s. The sitting room has a woodburner and a 43-inch smart TV, and the fitted kitchen has a dining area. There is also a utility room, and the ground-floor bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, a kingsize and a double, and the main bedroom has its own 32-inch TV. The stairs are quite steep. The cottage sleeps four; anyone bringing an infant who would take the party above four needs to check before booking. In the kitchen there are an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a coffee machine, a dishwasher and a washing machine, plus WiFi. Gas central heating runs alongside the woodburner, and fuel, power, a stove starter pack, linen and towels are covered by the rent.

One well-behaved dog is welcome and no other pets are allowed. Confirm the pet policy when booking. The garden is shared and not enclosed, ten yards from the cottage. Parking is roadside, opposite. The cottage stands next to a main road, so expect some road noise, and church bells ring through the day and into the night. The shop and pub are a two-minute walk. A bond is payable, and Sunday or Tuesday check-ins need a call first.

It suits a couple or small family, with a dog, who are happy with steep stairs and a village-centre setting.
