Home Farm Barn

Home Farm Barn is a converted mill house at West Quantoxhead, on the edge of the Quantock Hills and near Williton. It stands inside an independently owned holiday park, with the park's seasonal bar and snack shack 40 metres away and a beach 500 metres off. Shops are 2 miles away. The stone frontage, high ceilings and exposed beams are original to the mill.

The kitchen/diner has a gas hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Next door, the lounge has a Smart TV and an electric fire, with French doors out to a side patio. The patio has seating and is not enclosed, and reaching it means going round the corner and up a few steps. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king-size and two twin rooms, one of them with a Juliet balcony. A family shower room serves all three. Towels are not provided.

Guests can use the park's facilities. The indoor heated pool can be booked free of charge for 30 minutes of private use each day. There is also a children's play area, a treehouse, a football pitch, a dog walking area, woodland paths and a private beach with a waterfall. In the busiest months the bar runs evenings such as bingo and live music. Private parking is for two cars.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00. It suits a family or a group of up to six who want a pool and play space on the doorstep.
