Church View Retreat

Church View Retreat is a barn conversion in Wick St Lawrence, a village 6.1 miles from Weston-super-Mare, set on one floor. Hewish is also close by. There is a single open-plan studio, which combines a king-size bed, kitchen, dining table and sitting area, with a separate shower room.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a toaster kettle. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail and a WC, and electric heating includes underfloor heating. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are covered by the rent.

The private patio has furniture, and St Lawrence's Church is a stroll away. Brean Down Fort and Cheddar Gorge are a drive off. The lawned garden is not for guest use. Parking is off the road for one car. The shop is 1.8 miles away and the pub 1.2 miles, so a car helps. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. Pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted, and a Good Housekeeping bond is payable.

It suits a couple wanting one room to themselves rather than a house with spare bedrooms.
